Imaging strategies before beginning treatment of colorectal liver metastases

摘要: The management of colorectal intrahepatic metastases before resection is multidisciplinary and radiologists nuclear medicine specialists play a major role. In accordance with the French National Guide for appropriate use diagnostic imaging, approach should be multimodal: chest-abdomen pelvic (CAP) CT scan hepatic MRI are mandatory while PET-CT provides important additional information, in particular on intra-abdominal extrahepatic metastases. This multimodal emphasizes importance early imaging these patients, as well central role meetings oncology.
