摘要: The frequency and severity of fatty infiltration the liver in patients receiving 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) folinic acid has not been documented systematically. Its development can result difficulty assessing disease progression, treatment may be altered inappropriately. Twenty-seven with colon cancer metastases 5-FU were studied computerized tomography (CT) before after six or 12 cycles chemotherapy. Forty-seven per cent developed hepatic steatosis during treatment. There was no correlation between dose chemotherapy function tests. Hepatic occurs commonly severe. make difficult to assess if its benign nature is appreciated inappropriately altered.
