摘要: Adenosine 3′,5′-monophosphate (cyclic AMP) is a ubiquitous nucleotide, having myriad of biological effects. Tissue specificity cyclic AMP actions provided by the hormone-sensitive adenylate cyclase, located on inner side plasma membrane which converts ATP to AMP. Binding hormone its receptor causes conformational change resulting in activation cyclase. Most effects are mediated via protein phosphorylation; newly synthesized binds regulatory subunit an inactive kinase holoenzyme, causing dissociation latter into active catalytic subunits. This provides another source for action since only those cells possessing requisite substrates phosphorylation will experience modifying Free cytosolic rapidly degraded 5′AMP specific phosphodiesterase exists several isoenzymic forms and may show tissue selectivity.
