摘要: The highly electrophilic borane B(C 6 F 5 ) 3 reacts with octadecanoic acid (n-C 17 H 35 CO 2 H, stearic acid) to form 1:1 and 2:1 adducts [n-C H][B(C ] . These exhibit enhanced acidities, react Cp*TiMe3 in methylene chloride toluene give methane the complexes [Cp*TiMe ][n-C } 1,2 ]; complex particular is a very good initiator for carbocationic polymerization of isobutene (IB) copolymerization IB isoprene at temperatures as high -30°C. High conversions molecular weight homo- copolymers are obtained, consistent anion {B(C - being weakly coordinating.
