摘要: As arginine can serve as precursor to a wide range of compounds, including nitric oxide, creatine, urea, polyamines, proline, glutamate and agmatine, there is considerable interest in elucidating mechanisms underlying regulation its metabolism. It now becoming apparent that the two isoforms arginase mammals play key roles most aspects metabolism health disease. In particular, work over past several years has focused on arginases vascular disease, pulmonary infectious immune cell function cancer. these topics have been considered recent review articles, this will focus more closely results studies expression endothelial smooth muscle cells, post-translational modulation activity applications inhibitors vivo.
