摘要: Growth hormone (GH) is secreted by the pituitary gland in a pulsatile manner. It accepted that this pulsatility primarily controlled hypothalamus, although secretion can also be modulated factors from GH-targeted organs, and other regions of central nervous systems, or arriving peripheral organs. In mammals, hypothalamic control GH classically regulated interplay two opposing hormones, stimulatory GHRH inhibitory somatostatin (SS). Recognition gastric ghrelin peptide as natural ligand for secretagogue receptor type 1a (GHS-R1a) added new element to complex physiological regulation clarified some its aspects were previously not fully understood. review, we examine data suggest may regulate secretion, well ghrelin's possible use therapeutic agent.
