摘要: Abstract Objectives To describe human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine coverage among adult privately insured women including variation in by race/ethnicity. Methods This cross-sectional, observational study included 18–26 years of age with continuous enrollment a U.S. Midwestern health insurance plan and at least one visit to affiliated practice. Vaccination data came from claims the electronic medical record. Primary outcomes were: receipt 1 HPV (HPV1) completion 3-dose series (HPV3). Coverage was described for entire cohort stratified For subset women, automated compared personal recall. Results As June 2010, 2546 18–26 years, 72.7% had received their first 57.9% completed series. Compared white African American Asian significantly lower HPV1 HPV3. There 94.5% (95% CI: 88.5–100%) agreement between recall claims/EMR receiving HPV1. Conclusions In this majority more than half Marked disparities race/ethnicity were observed.
