摘要: In this paper, a comparative design of actuators for aerospace applications based on Induction Motor (IM) and Permanent Magnet (PMM) technologies is undertaken, by means combined electromagnetic thermal evaluation. Initially, 3D time-stepping finite element analysis employed the determination basic dimensional operating characteristics. As actuator constraints constitute key-feature respective systems, proposed configurations are compared basis equal evacuation. The two considered in next step optimized through application specific minimization their performance-technical related costs. Both resulting IM PMM optimal present complementary advantages class applications.
