Higgs finder and mass estimater

摘要: We exploit the spin and kinematic correlations in decay of a scalar boson into pair real or virtual W-bosons, with both W-bosons decaying leptonically, for Higgs discovery at 7 TeV LHC energy 10 fb-1 luminosity. Without reconstruction events, we obtain estimators higgs mass from peak width signal distribution (mll). The separation background other distributions, such as azimuthal angle between two W planes, rapidity difference leptons, missing ET pT are also prescribed. Our approach identifies salient to dilepton signatures that allow subtraction continuum W*W* background.
