摘要: Public-private partnerships (P3s or PPPs) offer an innovative procurement method for the public sector. P3s involve collaborations between and private sectors to finance, develop maintain transportation infrastructure. In era of shrinking budgets increased demand infrastructure, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) can analyze experiences in other states determine a best path forward on issue P3s. During 2014 regular legislative session, General Assembly passed House Bill (HB) 407, which would empower KYTC through Public Infrastructure Authority (KPTIA), fund projects P3 agreements.
