Reducing multiple optical carriers interference in broad-band passive optical networks

摘要: This letter discusses optical beat interference (OBI) and shows the efficiency in reducing this OBI broad-band passive network (BPON) by using an extra-strong modulation sine wave. The results show that can be reduced to acceptable levels. After calculation, with wave extended 12 units (ONUs).
