摘要: Applicant demonstrates for the first time that PD-dependent alterations in cholinergic stimulation and/or trophic effects of on function lacrimal gland acinar cells (LGAC) themselves result a characteristic or diagnostic profile composition tear fluid, which can be measured relatively easily, cost-effectively, and non- invasively. These biomarkers aid early proper identification PD patients. Thus, provided herein are novel methods determining whether subject is likely to have develop Parkinson's disease prior onset motor symptoms, identifying at risk developing disease, detecting least one biomarker sample, treating with kits diagnose disease.
