Sm2O3/Fluoroapatite as a reusable catalyst for the facile, green, one-pot synthesis of triazolidine-3-thione derivatives under aqueous conditions

摘要: Abstract A new series of fourteen triazolidine-3-thione derivatives (11 compounds) were synthesized via the reaction aromatic aldehydes with thiosemicarbazide samaria loaded fluorapatite, (Sm 2 O 3 /FAp) as catalyst in aqueous media. Fluoroapatite proved superior support relative to hydroxyapatite terms improved yield and reduced time. The catalyst, Sm/FAp was characterized by various instrumental techniques including XRD, SEM, TEM BET. Catalyst easily separable reusable for seven runs without any apparent loss activity. reported strategy has many benefits such ease preparation, green solvent, times, excellent product yields (92–97%) operational simplicity.
