摘要: The spiroketal motif occurs in a wide range of biologically active natural products and represents valuable target medicinal chemistry total synthesis. In recent years, innovative new synthetic methods have substantially expanded the potential precursors, cyclisation modes opportunities for asymmetric catalysis tandem processes. This Perspective aims to highlight rapid advances use transition metal formation, context our own investigations into gold-catalysed spiroketalisation.
