摘要: Cyclic AMP (cAMP) and cAMP-dependent protein kinases (PKAs) are believed to be involved in the regulation of essential spermatozoal functions, such as motility, epididymal maturation, capacitation, acrosome reaction. In this study, we document presence significant mRNA levels for 5 different PKA subunits (RI alpha, RI beta, RII C alpha) germ cells demonstrate differential expression patterns these during spermatogenesis. Messenger RNAs alpha beta) appear induced at premeiotic cell stages, whereas mRNAs (RII first expressed haploid stages. The individual may convey specific functions developing mature sperm. present furthermore, demonstrates unique smaller-sized compared with somatic cells. Specific, truncated forms selected Our data suggest due use alternative polyadenylation site signals. selection shorter species, higher stability, delayed translation observed spermatids. This ensure certain late spermatid after cessation transcription.
