摘要: We conducted a methodological review of articles using the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) or Trends in Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) data published by SSCI-indexed science education journals, such as Journal Education, Research Teaching, from 1996 to 2013. A total 51 empirical 8 journals were identified sample this study. These analyzed terms 2 essential statistical techniques, sampling weights design effects, used analyze international large-scale assessment (ILSA) data. The study also summarized most commonly quantitative methods analyzing PISA TIMSS these articles. results indicate that adjustments data, reported less than half studies. Suggestions regarding use appropriate techniques reporting well analysis are made researchers who ILSA their research.
