摘要: Spin-resolved photoelectron spectra of a monolayer xenon atoms physisorbed on magnetized Fe(110) and Co(0001) surfaces have been taken using unpolarized VUV light. The spin-resolved reveal the Xe Sp signal being split by up to 0.24 eV. This spin splitting can be explained magnetic adsorbate-substrate interactions which previously observed only for strongly chemisorbed species. results indicate rare-gas acting as kind «atomic probe» local surface magnetism
