Towards an Extended Model of Conceptual Representations in Formal Ontologies: A Typicality-Based Proposal

摘要: In this paper we propose a possible solution for the problem of computational representation non-classical concepts (i.e. that cannot be characterized in terms necessary and sufficient conditions) field formal ontologies. particular, taking into account empirical evidences coming from cognitive psychology, according to which concept is not unitary phenomenon, suggest similar approach conceptual knowledge could useful also ontology based technologies. Finally propose, linked open data perspective, spaces as suitable framework developing some aspects presented proposal.
