摘要: Periapical lesions were experimentally induced in forty-five teeth of seven beagle dogs by both septic and aseptic techniques. Preoperative postoperative serial radiographs produced with a specifically designed animal head x-ray device, at 30-, 60-, 90-day periods. Four anatomic study areas, which consisted the cervical, interradicular, proximal root, periapical areas each tooth, evaluated viewbox observation radiographs, television subtraction radiographic imagery, histologic examination. The findings obtained subtracted image examinations correlated observations. Diagnostic evidence pathosis was identified 7 to 42 days before this same noted on radiograph. periodontal membrane space, lamina dura, bone trabeculae, medullary spaces markedly enhanced, defined outlines image.
