Research advances in low cost THz passive and active components

摘要: Terahertz research that involves wide-ranging topics including high speed communication, astronomic and atmospheric spectroscopy, defense security screening material has been experiencing rapid growth in recent years. Apart from the THz components developed with optical method, this paper reviews some advances of terahertz passive active using electromagnetic method. Particularly, low cost, integration capability performance by various cost accuracy fabrication technologies have introduced typical state-of-art results. It shows it is possible to develop frequency (<2.0THz) systems processes.
