摘要: RATIONALE One new phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-V) inhibitor, propoxyphenyl homohydroxysildenafil (PP-HHS), has been isolated from one health supplement, and analyzed using high-resolution Orbitrap mass spectrometry. High-resolution spectrometry (HRMS) is useful to elucidate unknown substances at low concentrations. METHODS Two compounds, thiohomohydroxysildenafil (PP-THHS) were infused into the Thermo Fischer Scientific LTQ XL™ hybrid FTMS system a flow rate of 3 μL per min. The MS2 spectra acquired different high-energy collision dissolution (HCD) mode; 40 V for PPT-HHS 45 V PP-HHS. accurate measurement was assisted with aid Mass Frontier software, version 5.0. RESULTS The fragmentation pattern PP-HHS in spectrum very similar that PP-THHS except product ions m/z 519, 501, 325, 299 283 are less than by 16 m/z units. This result replacement sulfur atom oxygen thiolactam moiety. All errors below 5.0 ppm. CONCLUSIONS High-resolution an alternative method determine compounds like PDE-V inhibitor analogues unambiguously analyzing high accuracy. unapproved drug no pharmacological study reported.
