摘要: Background : Research training is essential to the development of well-rounded physicians. Although many pediatric residency programs require residents complete a research project, it often challenging integrate into educational programs. Objective We aimed develop an innovative program for residents, called Scholarly Activity Guidance and Evaluation (SAGE) program. Methods developed competency-based which establishes benchmarks while providing ongoing academic mentorship. Results Feedback from their supervisors about SAGE has been positive. Preliminary evaluation data have shown that all final-year met or exceeded expectations. Conclusions By with this supportive environment, we hope influence career paths, increase productivity, promote evidence-based practice, ultimately, positively impact health outcomes.
