摘要: Objective. To integrate pharmacy education into a diabetes and hypertension screening program to improve student disease knowledge skills provide valuable service the community. Methods. One hundred eighty third-year PharmD students were trained subsequently screened people aged ≥35 years in 2 Thai communities. Those with high risk factors encouraged see pharmacist or nurse for further evaluation referral physician diagnosis. Results. After training, showed significantly higher scores on than control group of second-year (p<0.05). More 80% rated by observers as having good community skills. 95% participants satisfied very session. The active improved coverage targeted communities from 41 people/month under passive 127 rate over 6-month period 24% 73%. Conclusion.
