Frailty, Physical Fitness and Quality of Life: a comparison between Physically Frail and Robust Older Women

摘要: Objective: The aim of the study was to compare physical fitness, quality life and domains frailty between physically frail robust older women, whose classified by domain from Kihon Checklist. Method: One hundred thirty-two community-dwelling women participated in (68.5 ± 6.1 years). Data were collected through questionnaires (sociodemographic, Checklist, Short Form-8 items) functional tests. Results: Most lived alone (P<0.01), had lower frequency leaving home weekly (P<0.03) reported a greater history fall events compared ones (P<0.01). In addition, presented performance handgrip strength, walking speed usual maximum, Timed Up Go. they worst results other (i.e., instrumental activities daily living, oral condition, socialization, cognition) as well life. Older living may present an increase emotional issues and, occasionally, decrease life. Conclusion: Physical less muscle strength power combination frailties besides one.
