摘要: Abstract This paper is the first of a two part study which quantifies economic and greenhouse performance conventional, hybrid fully electric passenger vehicles operating in Australian driving conditions. focuses on total cost vehicle ownership. Two sizes are considered, Class-E Class-B, bracket large majority roads. Simulation models baseline production, conventional developed. These then systematically altered to obtain fuel and/or electricity consumption equivalent mild hybrid, parallel plug-in vehicles. The each calculated, production costs estimated by decomposing into their major constituent parts. enables ownership be estimated, taking particular account variations fuel, battery prices.
