Cerebral Palsy in Children as a Risk Factor for Malnutrition.

摘要: Aim: The main aim of this study was to determine some malnutrition risk factors among children with cerebral palsy (CP). Children CP often require the assistance physical therapy centers. Experience suggests that, apart from disabilities, group suffers malnutrition. Methods: Data were gathered in hospital 128 aged 3-18 years who suffering CP. admitted 2011 2013 Center for Neurological Physical Therapy Regional Hospital No. 2. St. Queen Jadwiga Rzeszow (RORE). Statistical analyses conducted data on gender, age, type CP, motor function level according Gross Motor Function Classification Scale (GMFCS), body mass index (BMI) and hemoglobin levels blood. Results: anemia differs based gender - is 6 times greater boys than girls (p = 0.0398). Risk 3.5 higher tetraplegia diplegia or hemiplegia 0.0043).
