摘要: To bridge the gap between rodent and human studies, Stroke Therapy Academic Industry Roundtable committee suggests that nonhuman primates (NHPs) be used for preclinical, translational stroke studies. Owing to fact vast majority of ischemic strokes are caused by transient or permanent occlusion a cerebral blood vessel eventually leading brain infarction, ischemia induced endovascular methods closely mimics thromboembolic thrombotic cerebrovascular in patients. This review will make thorough summary occlusions NHPs using methods. Then, advantages disadvantages, potential applications analyzed each kind models. Additionally, we also further analysis based on different kinds emboli, various sites, infract size, abnormal hemodynamics, dysfunctions. Experimental models valuable tools analyze specific facets patients, especially those
