摘要: Sarcopenia is a chronic condition associated with physiological aging process and defined by the reduction of mass, muscle strength function. In Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), sarcopenia prevalent increased morbidity mortality occurrence cardiovascular complications. By analyzing in patients renal insufficiency, complex mechanisms that contribute to loss mass are highlighted, such as activation mediators stimulate ubiquitin-proteasome system (SUP) ATP-dependent, inflammation, metabolic acidosis, angiotensin II some hormonal factors. The therapeutic approach CKD includes exercises, correction hormone replacement therapy insulin resistance. Thus, it paramount importance early recognition this population, order establish effective interventions, thus avoiding full range complications wasting CKD.
