摘要: Summary Background & aims We investigated the prevalence of sarcopenia in elderly patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and its relationship various markers nutrition, cognitive function, depressive symptoms, inflammation β2-microglobulin. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted 95 having ESRD aged over 50 years. Sarcopenia defined as a decline both muscle mass strength. Results The mean age 63.9 ± 10.0 years; 56.8% were men 52.6% had diabetes. highly prevalent (37.0% 29.3% women). Subjective Global Assessment (SGA), inflammatory β2-microglobulin levels significantly associated sarcopenia, even after adjustment for age, gender, diabetes, body index. Additionally, symptoms showed higher risk relative to those without (odds ratio, OR = 6.87, 95% confidence interval, CI = 2.06–22.96) more likely be present mild dysfunction (OR = 6.35, CI = 1.62–34.96). Conclusions is closely SGA, markers, β2-microglobulin, depression dysfunction.
