摘要: In the first part of present work an equation is obtained for energy principle in which kinetic and potential energies are functionals only one function. This can be done by expanding exact inverse powers strong toroidal magnetic field. simplified accurate within terms order square curvature. In second report, applied to studies kink instability a plasma. It shown that branch splitting forbidden zones spectrum unstable Alfven oscillations arise from curvature. The appearance these shows clearly how plasma stability deteriorates as pressure increases. effect proportional curvature may explain confinement limits discovered recent computations high-β tokamak (for free boundary).
