摘要: Situs inversus is a rare condition in which the position of thoracic and abdominal viscera are exchanged from left to right sides. A possible inversion normal dominant intracranial anatomy, has however, rarely been discussed. We examine here gross anatomy an elderly cadaveric female for "situs inversus" contents. This study found that many structures commonly on one side compartment were reversed this specimen. These findings support concept reversal more may occur situs totalis, should alert clinician performing invasive procedures population. data will also hopefully provide further insight into mechanisms contribute totalis.
