摘要: A novel type of four-dimensional array based on phase modulation technique named phase-modulated arrays (PMAs) is proposed in this letter. The antenna elements PMAs are modulated by an amplitude-phase function. During each period, the successively connected with two different delay lines selected switch and radiates phases, which would generate additional equivalent excitations at center frequency. By controlling operation sequence lines, static can be completely replaced dynamic ones. Therefore, beam steering realized frequency without shifters. To verify its performance, applied to synthesize low sidelobe level beam-steering patterns shifters attenuators. Simulation results illustrate that meet design requirement simplify structure greatly.
