摘要: A total of 59 new temperature sensitive cdc mutants are described which grow normally at 25°C but become blocked DNA replication or mitosis when incubated 36°C. Thirtynine the altered in genes have been identified previously. The remaining 20 define 10 genes. These characterised physiologically, and 6 (cdc 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24) were found to be required for replication, 2 27, 28), 18, 19), could not unambigously assigned either definitely one other. Three genes, previously 10, 22 likely initiation replication. Mutants two 24 undergo bulk synthesis 36°C, this is defective. In case 17 defect ligation Okazaki fragments. 23 synthesis, whilst 21 may possibly a particular sub-set replicons. isolated mutant 13.117 also further described. This becomes middle with apparently condensed chromosomes.
