摘要: Abstract The simple chemistry of sodium polyphosphate (NaPP) makes it a very safe inorganic polymer for bio-applications. Recently we have focused on an in-situ forming system comprised NaPP and calcium chloride solutions which, contact, form gel-like material. This could be used in variety first step our studies has been synthesis characterization with the average degree polymerization D p ¯ from 50 up to 25,000, that is summarized this manuscript. lower than 500 was obtained fractionation glass. higher ion-exchange process potassium crystalline phase. optimized maximizing exchange while minimizing resin waste. prepared NaPPs determined by titration, viscosity 31P-liquid nuclear magnetic resonance measurements. accuracy these methods determining chain length discussed. effect furnace time temperature also In addition, since both introduce water, resulting were evaluated residual water differential scanning calorimetry elemental analysis methods.
