摘要: Disasters occur with high frequency throughout the world and increase risk for development of mental health problems in affected populations. Research focused on evaluation secondary prevention interventions addressing post-disaster has potential public-health impact. Toward this end, internet-based (IBIs) are particularly attractive that they: (1) offer a low-cost means delivering standardized, targeted, personalized intervention content to broad audience; (2) easily integrated within stepped care approach screening service delivery. We describe unique study design intended evaluate an IBI disaster-affected population-based sample. Description rationale provided sampling selection procedures, assessment measures methods, intervention, statistical critical outcomes. Unique features include use sample, telephone assessments, highly individualized web-based intervention. Challenges related large-scale IBIs targeting problems, as well implications future research practice discussed.
