Meeting report from the joint IARC-NCI international cancer seminar series: a focus on colorectal cancer.

摘要: Despite significant progress in our understanding of the etiology, biology and genetics colorectal cancer, as well important clinical advances, it remains third most frequently diagnosed cancer worldwide is second leading cause death. Based on demographic projections, global burden would be expected to rise by 72% from 1.8 million new cases 2018 over 3 2040 with substantial increases anticipated low- middle-income countries. In this meeting report, we summarize content a joint workshop led National Cancer Institute International Agency for Research Cancer, which was held achievements that have been made genetics, early detection treatment identify key research questions remain addressed.
