摘要: In this paper, the multidimensional characteristic based upwind scheme (MCB) which has been recently introduced by authors is applied to two another benchmark problems namely flow in a channel with backward facing step and two-dimensional steady unsteady flows past circular cylinder. Extension of MCB for calculating convective fluxes on non-Cartesian grids presented here. For over step, obtained results were compared against well-known experimental data show high accuracy faster convergence rate respect conventional CB scheme. case cylinder, at transient regimes investigated Again, are other literature good agreement them. Also, rapid was observed too. It concluded that, genuinely scheme, earlier authors, robust powerful modeling incompressible viscous achieving remarkable advantage schemes.
