摘要: Abstract A comparative study of low-Re wall-distance-free (WDF) turbulence models in incompressible flows is presented. The includes the WDF k-ϵ and three-equation k-ϵ-γ as well two which invoke distance from wall. are implemented conjunction with a characteristics-based method an implicit unfactored scheme. Comparison direct-numerical-simulation data reveals that provide much more accurate results for dissipation rate, especially near wall region. grid refinement further explicitly involve cannot capture correct rate behaviour near-wall region even on finest grid, where grid-independent solution achieved. However, require slightly iterations than other k - ϵ to converge. Results presented channel, flat plate backward-facing step flows.
