摘要: Overcoming poverty requires self-sustained economic growth. Energy, and particularly electricity, is essential for setting up small businesses which serve the local market. Building enterprises creating new jobs are only sustainable means of lifting people out poverty. In this context, energy an instrumental right to achieve MDGs. And particularly, according 2011 World Energy Outlook [1], Renewable Technologies (RETs) must play a prominent role in challenge implementing developing markets. supply that sufficient lighting cooking at household level (i.e. basic needs) social services (health, education, etc.) step direction. However, stable power supply, can be used activities, provides opportunities productive uses income generation, therefore, lead creation (energy) Hence, enhancing reducing isolation, safety measures, improving healthcare, preventing natural disasters, fostering productivity some benefits brought by access electricity rural areas. Four major Technologies, most diffused storage systems will described along chapter. A brief description resources assessment methodologies, overview main components layouts, considerations about capital costs, Levelized Cost (LCOE), impact given each RET. Moreover, hybrid systems’ layouts configurations also described.
