摘要: Based on the biotechnological revolution in past years, molecular biology has become increasingly data-driven. Knowledge Discovery Databases, a well-known process field of bioinformatics, is supporting biological research from data integration, knowledge mining to interpretation. This work proposes new software suite, termed inDatabases Designer (KD3), covering completeKnowledge Databases using workflow-oriented architecture. Three different application-oriented modules are implemented KD3: First, for designing specific workflows. These workflows can be used by Interpreter, which allows load and parameterize existing The Launcher encapsulates one dedicated workflow into an independent application answer biomedical question. KD3 offers variety methods, easily extended with customized components functional objects. All connected workflows, may contain elements other applications.
