摘要: Nicotine administration (2.5 mg/kg of body weight, sc, 5 days a week for 22 weeks) enhanced lipid peroxidative indices (thiobarbituric acid reactive substances and hydroperoxides) accompanied by significant increase in the marker enzymes alanine transaminase, aspartate alkaline phosphatase lactate dehydrogenase elevated levels cholesterol, triglycerides, phospholipids free fatty acids Wistar rats. There was protection hesperidin at different doses (25, 50, 75, 100 150 weight) nicotine-treated However, effect more 25mg/kg dose. The results suggest that exerts protective effects modulating extent peroxidation. are supported histopathological observations lung, liver kidney.
