摘要: Molecular design of artificial metalloproteins is one the most attractive subjects in bioinorganic chemistry. Protein vacant space has been utilized to prepare because it provides a unique chemical environment for application catalysts and biomaterials bearing electronic, magnetic, medical properties. Recently, X-ray crystal structural analysis increased this research area powerful tool understanding interactions metal complexes protein scaffolds, providing rational these composites. This chapter reviews recent studies on preparation methods analyses metal/protein composites, their functions as catalysts, metal-drugs, etc.
