摘要: The cAMP response element binding protein (CREB) has been implicated as a key regulator in the transcriptional control of many genes. To assess functional importance CREB vivo and its role development, we used gene targeting to generate mice with disruption gene. Homozygous mutant appeared healthy exhibited no impairment growth or development. In this report demonstrate that two other members CREB/ATF family, modulation (CREM) activating transcription factor 1 (ATF1), appear form unique subgroup within extensive class factors. Examination CREM mRNA levels demonstrated overexpression all tissues examined, but change ATF1 levels. These data is not sole mediator cAMP-dependent regulation probably acts concert specific subset element-binding proteins transduce signal and, absence, these same can compensate for function vivo.
