摘要: Immunohistochemical studies with an antibody to ubiquitin revealed the presence of filamentous inclusions in spinal anterior horn cells all six patients Guamanian amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and one cases parkinsonism-dementia complex (PD) on Guam. Similar ubiquitin-reactive were found seven non-Guamanian sporadic ALS examined. No similar seen normal controls or non-ALS who had chromatolytic neurons. The differed from neurofibrillary tangles, a characteristic feature PD, since they restricted did not react anti-tau antibody. neurons occasionally weak diffuse immunoreactivity, but no focal detected. These results suggest that may reflect degenerative process motor neuron disease.
