摘要: Abstract Although a large amount of textile wastewater is discharged at high temperatures, azo dye reduction under extreme-thermophilic conditions by mixed cultures has gained little attention. In this study, Acid Orange 7 (AO7) was used as the model to demonstrate decolorization ability an culture. The results showed that efficiency over 90% achieved for AO7. neutral red (NR, 0.1 mM) could promote AO7 decolorization, in which group Cell + NR offered highest rate 1.568 1/h and t1/2 only 0.44 h, whereas after CuCl2 addition, (0.141 1/h) lower (4.92 h) much longer. Thus, notably inhibited process. Caldanaerobacter (64.0%) Pseudomonas (25.4%) were main enriched bacteria, not reported have decolorization. Therefore, study extends application biotechnology.
