摘要: Objective: To investigate the association between Alzheimer disease (AD) and worker functions traits associated with occupations. Background: Studies have reported that occupational attainment is related to AD. However, most not identified specific (i.e., demands) of occupations may explain association, nor they accounted for changing demands over time. Methods: Within- between-group differences in mental, motor, physical, social 122 AD cases 235 control subjects were compared across four decades life (20s, 30s, 40s, 50s) using repeated-measures analyses covariance adjusted race, gender, year birth, education. Results: Overall, mental significantly lower physical higher than subjects. Case/control demand scores found their 20s but only later decades. Differences all 30s. Social motor did differ Among only, there no significant score In contrast, increased decades, declined. Like cases, remained stable Conclusions: The authors’ results indicate a relatively early influence neuropathology on capacity pursue mentally demanding also are consistent notion direct neuropathology.
