摘要: The aim of this study was to assess the suitability a no-cost system based on standard Internet technology components for teleradiology. composed free software (communication, DICOM viewer, compression) and off-the-shelf hardware components. For different image (CR, CT, MR) network types (LAN ISDN) File Transfer, Audio Video Conference, Co-operative Work properties were examined compared with literature referring complete packages dedicated teleradiology systems. main advantages are: price; ease use; independence from specific hardware; potential connection any possible partner. performance Transfer Conference comparable other groups slight disadvantages in usability. employed "application sharing" does not meet clinical requirements, which applies identically packages. Here specialized systems prove superior, although they are proprietary. With minimal restraints evaluated solution can be used scenarios. usage ISDN is recommended, unless purpose gaining experience or when dealing small amounts cases images.
