摘要: Cotton-top tamarins (Saguinus oedipus) in captivity are unusual that they exhibit low levels of polymorphism and allelic diversity at the major histocompatibility complex (Mhc) class I loci. Since has previously only been examined captive tamarins, we analyzed Mhc alleles a population wild tamarins. These like their counterparts, exhibited limited polymorphism. We also assessed II DQA1, DQB1, DQB2, DRB loci populations cotton-top In contrast to extensive Old World monkeys, two were detected each DQA1 DQB1. Also, DQB2 locus was monomorphic conserved between New monkeys. Sequences derived from four putative obtained, found all Phylogenetic analysis did not indicate any tamarin loci, with possible exception Saoe-DRB3, orthologous human At three (Saoe-DRB11, Saoe-DRB*W12, Saoe-DRB*W22), number nonsynonymous changes higher than synonymous antigen recognition sites, indicative positive selection. no support for restriction on However, some Saoe-DRB is more HLA-DRB1, consistent imposed by bone marrow-chimerical lifestyle.
