摘要: The history of troponin assays starts from the late 1980s. In 1987, B. Cummins reported a new analyte that could be used for diagnosis acute myocardial infarction (MI) (1). method was based on immunodetection cardiac isoform I (cTnI). Two years later Katus and colleagues (2) suggested utilization T (cTnT) as marker. Today dozens commercial cTnI are available. Troponins most “popular” markers. According to Apple et al. (3), in 1999 about 85% clinical laboratories United States were using this their practice. But our knowledge nature circulating blood is still only tip an iceberg. Limited antigen limits possibilities developing theory assays, consequence results huge between-method variations existing (4,5). Obviously lack international standard (6) complicates assay standardization, but case cTnI, antibody standardization can even more important (4).
