摘要: Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are of interest due to their antimicrobial attributes, which derived from inherent redox instability and subsequent release silver ions. At the same time, this is a substantial challenge for achieving stable long-term storage on-demand use AgNPs. In study, we describe validate “just add water” approach suspensions principally singly dispersed By lyophilizing (freeze drying) formulated AgNPs into solid powder, or cake, water removed thereby eliminating solution-based chemical changes. Storing under inert gas further reduces surface reactions such as oxidation. An example how optimize lyophilization formulation presented, well formulations three AgNP core sizes. This enables ease researcher desiring single master batch. Implementation methodology will enable studies be performed over long periods time across different laboratories using particles that identical chemically physically available on-demand. addition, freeze drying reconstitution by adding has enabled development reference materials with required shelf-life stability, one principal objectives research.
